The 30-Day Music Challenge

In the efforts of getting back into the swing of blogging again, I have decided to take upon the 30-day music challenge. A challenge where every day of the month, I will post a song based on the list provided below. The idea is to share a little bit about myself through music. But here is the twist. Well, my twist only because I like to be unique. Not only will it help me make sure to post at least one entry a day for the next few months, It'll be something different. Life is blah without music! So here goes...

Day 13 – A song that is a guilty pleasure
Day 14 – A song that no one would expect you to love

Day 16 – A song that you used to love but now hate
Day 17 – A song that you hear often on the radio
Day 18 – A song that you wish you heard on the radio
Day 19 – A song from your favorite album
Day 20 – A song that you listen to when you’re angry

Here are my changes:

1. The first month will consist of 30 songs that will be all in English.

2. The second month will consist of 30 songs that will all be in Hindi. (Third=Bangla, Fourth = Arabic, Fifth = English etc..)

3. I will give a short anecdote on why I chose this song and my connection to it.

So with that being said, here it goes...

The Annual Update!

It's been a little bit over a year since I have posted something on my blog! Reason? Life!

But if you really are curious, here's what I have been up to.

1. I no longer live in NY! Yes! I have finally moved after 3-4 years of blogging about it.

2. Work has been daunting.

3. Experiencing this new city/country

4. Battling the balls that's been thrown at me every other month

a. major car accident

b. drugged by maids to steal 30k from my bag

c. Dengue fever

d. Father and mother falling ill

e. Traffic

5. Touring other cities in this country (aka. The Sunderbans, Cox's Bazaar)

6. ICC World Cricket Cup 2011 in Dhaka

7. Family pressures to getting married

and most importantly

8. Just didn't want to! sorry for being harsh but sometimes I have to be!

But without making promises, I'm back! Let's see how long this lasts!
